President The President is the spokesperson of the Isaacs Law Society. Their job is to be responsible to the Student Success (from Engagement and Welfare) for the financial and general management of the Society. This position is one of high responsibility and accountability, with the President being directly responsible for the actions of the Society.
The Vice President supports the President with the financial and general management of the Society. Their role requires them to act in the capacity of the President if the President is unable to carry out their duties. The Vice President is responsible for supervising the Directors of the Society.
Secretary The Secretary is responsible for the maintenance of the Society's non-financial records, such as the Society's membership list. The Secretary also produces the committee's agendas for all meetings that are outlined in the Isaacs Law Society's Constitution.
Treasurer The Treasurer is responsible for the Society's day to day finances and performs various financial duties such as receiving subscriptions fees from members and issuing receipts for payments received by the Society. The Treasurer is also responsible for management of the Society's bank account.
Editor of Publications The Editor of Publications is responsible for managing the Society's social media accounts and the Society's website. The Editor of Publications is also required to produce newsletters and publications with assistance from the Secretary.
Education Officers The Education Directors have the primary role of assisting UC law and justices studies students with their academic development. One of the ways in which the Education Directors achieve this is by developing study groups and help sessions for students.
Competitions Officers The Competition Directors primarily manage internal and external law competitions including mooting, negotiations, client interviewing and witness examination. The Competition Directors are also responsible for assisting with the training and development for UC students who are involved in such competitions.
Careers Officers The Careers Directors are responsible for the production of the Isaacs Law Society's Careers Guide and planning of the Society's Careers Fair.
Events Officers The Events Directors plan and coordinate events as directed by the committee. Such events include the Society's annual Law Cruise and Law Ball, which are the Society's key events of the year.
